Financial Controller

Vacancy Description:

A leading Oilfield Services company has a requirement for a Financial Controller to be responsible for their Middle East and North Africa region.  

Reporting into the Regional VP you will form part of the senior management team and be responsible for leading and managing a multisite finance team. You will have full accountability for the regions audit and statutory accounts and be responsible for consolidation budgets, forecasts and monthly accounts. You will ensure the group’s financial processes, policies and internal control systems are streamlined and accurate financial reports are produced.   

A technically strong qualified accountant you will have experience working within the Oilfield services sector across the MENA region. The successful candidate will come from a strong compliance background and have experience working with Sarbanes Oxley. To be considered you must be able to speak Arabic fluently as this is a pre-requisite.  

This is a very senior role within in the region and it requires an individual with excellent communication and influencing skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
