Plant Manager

Vacancy Description:

A leading Oil & Gas company require a Plant Manager to work in their newly created manufacturing site based out of Abu Dhabi. Initially the site will be turning over $20m but has the capacity to grow to $300m, which they are aiming to do in 3 years.  

Reporting into the General Manager you will be directly responsible for establishing and directing plant policies and procedures, recruitment and training, quality control, employee performance review and running plant meetings. A major part of this role will be ensuring the plant utilises Lean Manufacturing tools to improve the quality, productivity and overall cost of products.  

The successful individual will be of degree calibre and have in excess of 6 years experience in a high production environment. You will be able demonstrate an in depth knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and process improvements. Ideally you will have worked in a hard good manufacturing environment with proven leadership experience and strong organizational skills.  

It is not imperative that you have come from an oil & gas background but you must be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge around cost control in a manufacturing environment.
